Tonight we are attending the Ryder Cup Captains' Celebration which includes food, cocktails, live music and an interview with captains Paul Azinger and Nick Faldo. This is a fundraiser which will benefit the Louisville Golf Program, Down Syndrome of Louisville, The Children's Hospital Foundation and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kentuckiana. Tonight's event should be lots of fun, but we are really looking forward to the actual Ryder Cup at the Valhalla Golf Club which will be played September 19th-21st, 2008.
Corey especially has been working very hard at getting tickets for the event. We entered the random ticket draw which closed on September 30th. Winners will be announced by November 1st. We do have a couple of practice round tickets secured along with two tickets for the 19th and are hoping for more through the random ticket draw.
For those of you who have expressed interest in joining us during this event, we look forward to it...I know it's almost a year away, but we all know how time flies.
