We're back

We had a great time in NC! Corey along with Mike and 4 other guys had a great time golfing Pinehurst, playing cards and just being guys!!

I spent the weekend preparing to be a mom with Ashley and her two boys. Jackson and Jacob are 9 months old, cute as can be and very happy little boys!

Liston, Laila, Maggie and Millie had a great time too, they ran crazily through the house and somehow with the two little one's it all worked out! Poor Liston did have to go to the vet on Friday morning and she definitely had a corneal ulcer. She was taking a pain pill and eye drops to heal the ulcer but that didn't work, so on Monday I had to take her to an eye specialist. The ulcer changed and was definitely not healing so they had to do the razor scrape procedure (keratectomy) and she has to stay on medication for another week or so! Hopefully this will do the trick, NO cone though!

WEEK 15
We are at week 15 now. Our baby is 4-4 1/2", weighs 1 3/4-2 oz. and is close to the size of a softball. I have been reading the book "Your Pregnancy Week by Week" which is a great resource! I really enjoy the information about the baby on a weekly basis and the book also includes the changes that I am going through on a weekly basis. There are also some fun "dad tips".

I am also reading "The Girlfriend's Guide to Pregnancy", I recommend this book as well, it is a very honest explanation of what a woman goes through with pregnancy from your girlfriend's perspective!
Corey and I talked about going to Lexington this weekend to check out the horse races, maybe some horse farms and possibly the Bourbon Trail. If we go, I'll let you know all about it...except for the Bourbon part of course, we'll have to rely on Corey for that!
